The Rorschach Test
The world is not as it is, but as we are. A reflection on how our inner rehearsals dictate the reality we ultimately perform.

The image you see is only as you see it, and no other way. Everything happens and everything lives within you according to how you feed and develop it, according to how you direct your thoughts toward it. Any situation you find yourself in has a thousand options; it can unfold in this way or that… But it happens exactly as you have already seen and experienced it in your head, and with the attitude you adopt to face it. As you surrender to it, it aligns itself with you and reacts in the only way that answers your stance toward it. The Rorschach test manipulates you. It consists of associative images stained with dark blotches, and first, one of the offered images is drawn for you as clear as day—all its outlines and its meaning; you see them clearly, and that’s it, and nothing else. Until the next moment, when someone points out a completely different image that they see. It takes a lot of effort and exertion to suppress the first image you saw in order to then see the second, the third, or all those that can be seen on that stained sheet of paper. And it is all in your head—the assembly and interpretation of every image, book, poem, event. Before anything is meant to happen, you unintentionally, unconsciously, quite accidentally have an opinion about it, combinations and possibilities of how that situation could flow, how it would develop, and that pulses within you until the moment you become a part of that situation. And then, when you have become a part of it, you radiate what you have been thinking about. I don’t mean a magnet that attracts something to happen that way; when I say radiate, I mean the way you behave and react because you have already gone through it in your head and experienced that situation, and therefore you have prepared your reaction to it—that is why it happened exactly, just like that. From your reaction to anything, the course of events changes completely... From a single word, one breath, one exhale, one look. And do not tell me, do not think that your desires (hidden thoughts) do not come true; they come true exactly as and exactly as much as you are ready to endure them up to the point where the movie about it ran in your head. What happened to you is exactly what you wanted to happen. The world is as we see it. No, it is not. The world is diverse, but you chose to see it that way, and only because of that, it is so. Just like the Rorschach test.
